Rocket

So, this is the page of the person that is me. This'll be stuff that is really just sorta me central. I'm an English major with a focus in Creative Writing, so obviously writing is and has always been a big part of my life.

I do mainly fanfiction and poetry right now. I obviously take no credit for my fanfics other than the fact that the plot ideas are mine. Characters belong to their original creators (I did mention I was shit-broke remember?). I'm sure this is just me just being over cautious, but if you like my stuff - poetry or otherwise - leave me comments/reviews, recommend me to your friends, but please don't steal. That's illegal, and not to mention just plain rude. Also, if you don't like my stuff, be nice about it. Constructive criticism is not telling me I suck.

Link to my fan fiction writings is this

A lot of my poems are still in the works. Obviously, I'm not a published poet and I don't pretend to be one. I just like writing it and often putting it out for people to see inspires me to make it better.

Other than that, expect some geeking out on this. Like, a little more than will be on the home page. Not a whole lot more - maybe like 10% more.

This is Another Place

  This is another place
One I thought would fill the void
           The emptiness is more profound

     This is a different place
One where people bundle in layers
           Even in summer

     This is another place
One I thought could be without limits
You can't even see the stars

-- Inspired by James Arthur's "Utopia"

Remembering Another

She brushes the back of her
fingers against my cheek
before her lips follow the trail
of freckles that lead back to my ear
and I have to swallow my tongue
before it can say your name
